Race Day: Sunday 12th July 2026
The Olympic Distance Triathlon, also commonly referred to as the Standard Distance Triathlon, is a multi-sport race that consists of three continuous and sequential endurance disciplines. It's one of the most popular distances within the sport of triathlon, catering to both amateur and professional athletes. The standard distances for each segment of the race are as follows:
Swimming: 1.5 kilometers (0.93 miles)
Cycling: 40 kilometers (24.8 miles)
Running: 10 kilometers (6.2 miles)
This format strikes a balance between speed and endurance, making it a challenging yet accessible distance for a wide range of athletes.
In addition to individual events there's also an olympic Team Relay and Aquabike.

- You want more choice in how you gain points
More detail on scoring will follow, but Olympic distance events will be weighted in line with the Championship.
