We’ve done it, we have a new open water swim venue at Wintersett.
We’re hoping to be up and running for the whole club for a Triathlon on Sunday 15th June but we’d like to do a small test event this Sunday (8th June) from 7.30 until 9.00 am
Do you have time to help us on this by either swimming volunteering, or both this Sunday?
We need to fill the following roles
1 Swim entry exit marshal - 7.30 to 8.15
2 land spotters - 7.30 to 8.15
2 rescue craft crew -7.30 to 8.15
1 Swim entry exit marshal - 8.15 to 9.00
2 land spotters -8.15 to 9.00
2 rescue craft crew - 8.15 to 9.00
All roles and swimming will be free this week, but in future swimming will be £6 or free if you sign up to volunteer. We are limiting the swimmers to 20 this week.
Booking: We are also testing a new booking website, can you sign up for the volunteer roles or to swim using this link. Your feedback on how this works would also be welcome.

Wetsuit: for this week it will be a wetsuit only swim
Parking: We need to use the council carpark at Anglers country park it’s £1 for 2 hours via the mipermit app. Please do not park in the sailing club. The venue are working on more parking for next year.
There are toilets, changing rooms and a honesty box for tea and coffee facility on site
